We started in 1981 buying at DRMO Hawaii - and selling items at the swap meet. By 1989 we opened our first store (1500 sq ft) and 5 years (and 2 moves) ended up here at KAPALAMA MILITARY RESERVATION -with a 13,000 ft (1/2) of a military warehouse. After the death of our founder FRANK - we decided to honor his memory and keep it GOING! The end of our warehouse was the morgue for the US ARMY from 1950 to 1975. Then JTF (POW-MIA research teams)used it until they moved to Hickam AFB where they are still in operation. We are trying to preserve THIS building as 35,000 Vietnam KIA's were processed through our morgue .. and we don't want it forgotten!. But with minimum financial resources and political powers that are only interested in WWII -- its slow going! We have been here since 1994 and hope to get our dreams of a VN Veterans Morgue & Museum realized. KMR is slated for demolition by 2014 so Matson Navigation can extend it's container shipping yard. BUT WE WILL NOT GIVE UP!
