I'm eco-friendly & don' t want still useful items going to a landfill. I find vintage things & recycle or repurpose them. My dad refinished furniture & turned old pieces into works of art. I, too, renew old treasures & want to share them with you.

Hi everyone! I've been away from selling for a while, but I'll be posting the vintage things I love again within the next few weeks. I love selling vintage Tupperware, Homco, Syrocco, Pyrex bowls, aluminum wares, copper items, handcrafted pillows, sachets, runners & valances, shadow boxes with crosses, and primitive pieces. We also make shelves and coat/key hangers from old wooden shutters. In the next few months, my husband will add steam punk jewelry and other decorative items of this interesting genre where Victoriana meets the future.

Painting furniture, sewing, & growing flowers that can tolerate the Texas heat. The Hubby & I are now learning how to grow a few favorite veggies and fruits by trying to grow tomatoes, peppers, basil, rosemary, cilantro and strawberries, and an orange tree. Too bad the squirrels ate most of the baby oranges.

In 2005 I began a home-based home decor business as I wanted to share my handcrafted creations & found treasures with others. I used to be a nurse & I also went to law school. I had 2 hours left and I fell & hurt my back, and then I was diagnosed with a degenerative spine disease. Constant pain forced me to leave law school. It's often said our best laid plans often go awry; but, I still have a positive attitude. I've been blessed with a dear husband for 33 years, and one great son. On my good days with my hubby's help, (lots of help) we ready and sell our wares for needed income. Especially now since my hubby was wrongly fired after working almost 21 years at the same place. Going through the civil service process was just as unfair. While we figure out what to do my husband will help me full time & go to school to learn autocad. He's a land surveyor & a new skill will hopefully help him land a new job. We appreciate your business & will continue to provide 5 star customer service!

I usually ship items 48-72 hours after receiving cleared payment. I add a nominal packaging/handling fee to the shipping cost. I will combine shipping for non-breakable items as follows: Full shipping fee for the heaviest item and then 50% discount off the shipping cost for any additional items. I charge actual shipping charges plus a nominal handling fee (.50-1.00). I ship non-breakable items in poly mailing bags to reduce the weight; thereby reducing the shipping charges.

No Returns. However, if a valued customer has any questions about the quality or description of the item please contact me BEFORE BIDDING. If there's a concern once you receive the item, then contact me within 24-48 hrs after receiving the item and I'll be glad to discuss the issue with you. If a customer feels an item has been grossly misrepresented, please contact me within 24-48 hours of receiving the item. I will request a picture via email showing me the defect not noted in the description or pictures. If I agree, I'll request the item be returned to me before I issue a refund of the price paid and initial shipping. There is no refund for the return shipping fee paid to send the item back to me.
