Hi Everyone! I was an obsessed camera collector but I realized that I cant use 2000 cameras and lenses at the same time! So I am selling them because it is sad to see them siting in storage and not making great pictures.

I take detailed higher resolution pictures of the items that I am listing so you can really see the condition as much as possible. One thing that always bothered me as a buyer was that I often felt like I was taking a gamble buying equipment because there was not enough quality information in the listings about the condition of the items to make an informed decision. So now that I am selling I really try to get it right every time as far as descriptions and pictures so you know what you are getting and have no surprises when you receive the item. I am a technical professional (electronic and mechanical engineering) and pay a lot of attention to detail so my equipment is in tip-top shape and well maintained. I try to list all aspects of the condition in detail in my listings so that you can know the condition as if you had the item in your own hands for inspection.

1. Cleaning marks - these are light scratches or smudges on the surface of a lens (normally in the coating only) and have no effect on image quality unless there is a very heavy concentration of them. A rule of thumb is that if you need an inspection light to see them they will have no optical effect. They are normally only visible with an inspection light or other strong light source (like a flashlight) shining through the lens. 2. Dust or haze in a lens - basically it is the same as with cleaning marks. A little will have no effect on image quality. To impact image quality there would have to be a lot of dust or haze. Being a fanatic I sometimes have them cleaned which is expensive and really not needed. If you need an inspection light to see it, it will have no effect on the image quality. 3. Deep scratches can reflect light visibly. One possible solution is to black out the scratch with black wax or ink. The blacked scratch acts like dust or dirt and the lens may become usable.
