Outside of Active Human I try to get outdoors as much as I can to run, bike or hill walk. I also have a young family who keep me just as active!

I live in the beautiful Calderdale Valley of West Yorkshire. It's a great place for getting out in the hills and enjoy some great running, mountain biking and hill walking. I am an occasional skier / snowboarder and try to get away every year on annual winter holiday.

The loneliness of the long distance runner Runners World, Mountain Bike Rider and Trail. Yes I know they are magazines not books but it gives you a taste of what I read.

Payment policy We prefer payment by paypal, however we accept UK cheques, UK postal orders

Postage Fees We do not make any profit from shipping the item to you. Our shipping charges cover postage and packing materials Delivery information For UK customers we aim to post your item (via 1st class post) within 24 hour of receiving your order. For international customers we use 1st class airmail and aim for a 1-4 day delivery period although it can take up to 14 days for some addresses.

Our aim is to give you the customer a prompt and hassle free buying experience. If you have a problem with an item you have purchased please contact us via ebay. If the item(s) is not the right size or you do not like the item(s) we will happily exchange for another size or item for a small charge to cover return postage. Alternatively we will refund the price paid for the item without shipping. If the item is faulty or is damaged in transit, please return the item to us and we will replace/exchange/refund the item and re-imburse reasonable carriage costs. Please return any goods as soon as possible as this so that we can resolve the matter for you quickly. Goods may be returned within 14 days of receipt if unsuitable. All unwanted goods must be returned with their tags attached in their original packaging clearly stating the reason for return.
